He's brilliant in Shinsengumi. He really brought Yamanami back to life. I can't imagine someone else being Yamanami but him. I lost interest in the whole series after Yamanami's death in ep. 33, that's just how great his influence was for me. And yeah.. that pic above doesn't do him justice.
