Kang Hye-jeong (born January 4, 1982) is a South Korean actress who has starred in films such as Oldboy and Welcome to Dongmakgol.

She first made official debut as magazine model, and she studied performing arts at the Seoul Institute of Arts.

She acted in Pen-Ek Ratanaruang's Thai film Invisible Waves, which was chosen as the masterpiece of Thailand in 2006.[1]

In 2002, She was awarded as Best Actress in Bucheon International Film Festival. The next year, in 2003 she got the Best Supporting Actress award from Blue Dragon Film Festival for (Old boy) [2] In 2005, she once again received supporting prize.
