Metropolitan Teien Art Museum

This art deco museum is the former home of Prince Asaka Yasuhiko, Emperor Hirohito`s Uncle, who lived in Paris for 3 years during the 1920s, where he developed a taste for the European style.

Surrounding the museum is a rather pleasant Japanese garden, with tea house and pond. Next door is the National Park for Nature Study.
