The Wilson Trail is a 78Km walking path in Hong Kong. It was named after David Wilson, Baron Wilson of Tillyorn, who was Governor of Hong Kong from 1987 to 1992. The trail was first opened in 1996 and goes from Stanley on Hong Kong Island to Nam Chung in the New Territories.
Stage 3 saw us walk from Yau Tong to Tseng Lan Shue. This a fairly easy and pleasant walk with a couple of moderate hills. This stage also includes The Devils`s Peak, along with a historical detour to some old World War Two batteries (Pottinger & Gough Battery), which are marked at the Museum of Coastal Defence on the opposite side of the harbour.
To start this trail, head to Yau Tong on the MTR and follow the signs.
