Lugard Road

Lugard Road was named after the 14th Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Frederick Lugard. It starts at Victoria Gap and passes through the North slope of Victoria Peak and ends at the gap at High West. Ever since its completion, its been the most famous site seeing route in Hong Kong. Built between 1913 and 1914, Lugard Road offers the best possible views of Hong Kong from the Peak. Even better than the Peak Tower.

To start the Lugard Road walk, leave the Peak Tower and turn right into Lugard Road. The Road winds all the way around until you arrive back at the Peak Tower.
