Cheung Chau Island lies 24km southwest of Hong Kong and covers just 2.4sq km. But for its small size Cheung Chau is the most densely populated of the outlying islands. You can walk around the island in around 2 hours. As you walk around the island you`ll be rewarded with some beautiful views of the surrounding areas. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Cheung Chau comes highly recommended.

To get to Cheung Chau, catch the ferry from the Outerlying Island ferry pier.
