Tang Dynasty Show
One of the highlights in Xi'an is a Tang Dynasty Show at the Shaanxi Grand Opera House. The show is a performance of Chang'an music and dance originated in China's Tang Dynasty over a thousand years ago. It has been recreated in accordance with various historical records as well as ancient art and relics discovered in Xian, the capital of the empire during the Tang Dynasty.
Some of the dances include: Spring Orioles Song, The Quarrel Between Ducks, Feather Dress Dance, Warriors Triumphal Dance & White Ramie Ribbon Dance.
During the show you are treated to a Tang Dynasty Dumpling Banquet and the show itself makes for one colourful spectacle.
